CREDITS: "I'm gonna call Ethan Black and find out what the hell is going on" Max announced as he walked over to the phone and dialed the all to familiar telephone number. "Ethan what the hell have you done to Angel?"
Ethan smiled as he heard Max's voice, angry and worried. He smiled and replied. "Max how nice to hear from you!" "Stop playing games Ethan and answer my question" Max snapped back, angry and annoyed. "Max if I had Angel I would let you know. Angel isn't her Max but if she does pop around I'll let you know" Ethan smiled and he heard Max slam the phone down. He put his phone down and then rang another number.
"He doesn't have her?" Betty asked judging by Max's angry expression she could tell, even from what she heard all was not well. "No he doesn't." "Then where is she?" "I don't know. Perhaps she is with Kate? Perhaps she is staying with her mother" Betty had a look of surprise at the mention of Angel's mother. "Perhaps, I'll phone her mother and you can speak to Kate"
Honey was in the ever increasingly busy Reception, the phone rang and she picked it up, speaking to a guest first. "I'm sorry sir, I'll deal with you in a minute." She then spoke into the phone. "Crossroads Hotel how may I help you?" "It's me, Angel has disappeared. Now is the time to get close the Samsons" It was Ethan but just as quickly as he had started he ended and the phone went dead. Honey smiled and looked up and she saw Max Samson crossing the Reception, she called out to him. "Mr. Samson" Max turned and walked over to the Reception desk. "Make this quick Honey I have got a lot on" "I was just wondering if there is any thing I could do?" "No not now"
Rio was sitting in the living room of the cottage, sulking. Vince walked in. "Penny for them?" Rio didn't even looked at Vince she completely blanked him. "This must be serious, run out of hair spray?" Rio smiled faintly. She looked up. "No it's Scott" Vince sighed. "What has he done this time, and the truth Rio!" "He stood me up" "A date?" "No of course not, we were meant to go play pool and he stood me up for his new pal" Rio practical spat the next words out "Cameron" With that she got up and left. Helen walked in as she left. "Rio are you okay?" "Fine" She called back as she walked up stairs. Helen turned and smiled at Vince. "Young love 'ey!"
Angel was relaxing in her room. She was drinking another cup of tea and was looking at the view from the window. There was a knock at the door and she turned to face the old wooden door. "Come in" Sister Grace entered with a wooden tray and a bowl on it. She walked over to Angel, smiling. "I've made you some Chicken Soup" Angel smiled and took the tray from Sister Grace. "Thank you" "How are you now?" "Much better thanks" Angel sat down on the bed, with the tray. Sister Grace sat next to her. "Are you sure you don't want Max to know where you are, he'll be worried?" "No, I don't want him to know yet."
Max walked down the mucky corridor to Kate's room. The whole corridor looked run down, he could half sympathize with Ethan as to why he wanted rid of the place. Max got to the end of the corridor and knocked on the door. Kate opened it and looked slightly shocked at seeing Max. "Yes Max what can I do for you?" "Have you seen Angel?" "No, is that it?" "Kate she's gone missing" Max looked and sounded genuinely worried. Kate nearly felt sorry for him but then regained control. "Well I haven't seen her, are you sure she hasn't gone to visit her mother for a few days?" "Betty is checking that now"
"Joe" Cleo shouted down the corridor. Joe turned around and smiled. "Cloe whats wrong?" "Nothing, I just wanted to know what you were going to say earlier" "Well there is another relative I could try but that's it."
"I've got to go" Cameron said getting up from the sofa. Scott also got up. "Must you, why?" "I've got to meet Jason" Cameron said, smiling and gently heading for the door. "Who's he?" "He's my boyfriend" Cameron smiled as he opened the door. "See you later" Cameron left and closed the door behind him. Scott turned to face away from the door looking slightly confused.
"Max!" Betty shouted across the reception. Max turned around as Betty ran over to him. "Angel isn't at her mother's. No one has seen her Max, we have to call the police!. We have to face it Max, Angel could be lying dead somewhere!"
