"Previously on Crossroads"
-Oona swore she would return to Crossroads to deal with Angel over
Sable's death/murder.
-Cameron told Rio that her and Scott were meant to be but only after
letting slip it was Scott who had kissed him.
-Kate told Tracey about the conversation she overheard between Rio
and Scott.
-Ethan forced Honey to take some poison, to kill Jimmy with.

Ethan laughed as he watched Honey drive away. He then sat back down
and drank some whiskey.
"Soon Max you will feel the pain I did when my mother and my father
died"

Honey was crying as she drove through Kings Oak. She was also
speeding as she pulled into the Hotel car park. Virginnia and Rocky
were just leaving as she pulled in.
"Really that girl should be more carefully," Virginnia said to Rocky
as they walked past Honey's car. Honey looked at herself in her
mirror and swiped away the tears. She quickly applied some make up
and got out and head for the Hotel.
"Sorry I'm late Jimmy" She said as she hugged him. "Something came
up"
"Well you're here now that's all that matters."
"Where are we going then?"
"I thought we could go to the new Restaurant"

"And please Mother can we not talk about Max or Jonathan" Angel said
as she was sitting with her mother in a bust Italian restaurant.
"I wouldn't have to go on about it if you listened to me Angela"
"Its Angel" Angel said, bitterly. She continued to look at her menu,
so she wouldn't have to look at her mother.
"Of course Angel. Like I was saying you never
listened to me and that has got you nowhere"
"No mother it has got me Crossroads. I am Angel Samson"
"And you could have been Angel Price, executive manager of Price
Fashions. Instead you are executive manager of Crossroads Hotel, nee
Motel"
Angel stood up angrily and annoyed.
"That's it. I have had enough of your constant put downs and snide
remarks about Max. You haven't done too well either. Now I am going
back to Crossroads"
"But we haven't eaten" Patty protested, also getting up.
"I will eat at Crossroads. Now you can come back with me or" Angel
remarked, mocking her mother "You can catch the bus back"
Patty got her coat and followed Angel as she headed for the door.
Jimmy and Honey came through the door.
"Jimmy what are you doing here" Angel asked.
"Same as you it would seem" He replied.
"Have more fun than I did. I didn't even get to order" Patty
said. Angel gave her a disapproving look and then smiled at Honey.
"Well enjoy your self darling"

Oona walked through the door of the Cat in the Moon. The pub was
busy and she mingled her way through to the bar and sat on the
stall. Dave came over as Helen continued to serve the customers.
"Are you alright love? Rio said she saw you storming off to
Crossroads"
"To confront her majesty there. She killed Sable, Dave.
He looked confused.
"But Sable's up stairs love"
"That's not Sable. Betty and Lola found the real Sable in the
freezer at Crossroads. Betty merely replaced Sable"
"Oh" Dave looked extremely worried "And you went to have it out with
Angel. Oona love what did you do?"
"What do you take me for?" Oona said accusingly, Dave looked at her
and she gave in "Nothing she wasn't there but that doesn't mean I
won't do anything when I get my hands on her"

"What do you want?" Jimmy asked as he looked at the large menu.
"I don't know there is so much choice." She drank some of the wine
in her glass "The wine is good."
"Yes I imagine that's why my mother came here. I'm just going to the
toilet" Jimmy got up and headed for the toilets. Honey waited until
he was out of sight and then got her bag up on the table and pulled
out the bottle of poison Ethan had gave her. She was about to pour
it in Jimmy's glass when, instead, she threw it on the floor and
stood on the un-broken bottle.

Angel and Patty walked into the reception of Crossroads. Max
immediately came over.
"Angel I'd like a word with you" He then looked at Patty "Alone"
"Fine" Patty replied heading for the bar, having seen Jonathan
there.
"What is this about Max?"
"You accusing Kate of plotting to split me and you up"
"Oh really Max is that all. I might have expected you to come
running to her aid, like her knight in shinning Armour."
"If any is plotting to split us up its your bloody mother"
Angel slapped Max around the face.
"Don't you dare be rude to my mother. She can see you for what you
really are. My mother might be in on the act but Kate is the driving
force."
"The only driving force is you Angel, you are driving me away"
"No Max. You would always run to Kate."
Angel then pushed passed Max and headed for her apartment.
"Angel wait! Where are you going?"
"Home"

Scott was in his apartment talking to Tracey.
"Scott what were you and Rio arguing over this morning?"
"What?"
"Kate said she heard you and Rio arguing. You can talk to me you
know"
Scott looked slightly worried.
"We weren't arguing"
Tracey looked very un-comfortable about the conversation.
"She said she heard you claiming someone wasn't your boyfriend.
Please Scott tell me what's going on."
"Nothing is going on"
"Scott I wouldn't mind if you were gay, you know"
Scott got up he was clearly angry. "I'm not gay. Just drop it will
you?" He headed for the door.
"Well where are you going?"
"To get some air" Scott opened the door, walked out and then slammed
it shut. Tracey looked worried.

"Jonathan how nice to see you again" Patty said walking up to the
bar where Jonathan was sitting.
"Mrs Maynard" He said kissing her hand. Patty smiled.
"Oh please call me Patty"
"Patty what do you want to drink?"
"Oh I'll have a gin & tonic please"
A barman came over and Jonathan gave him the order. A few seconds
later Jonathan and Patty were talking together.
"I'm so sorry about the other night. It must have been very
unpleasant for you" Patty was referring to the disastrous family
and friends meal.
"Oh believe me I have seen worse"
"Of course it wouldn't have happened if Angel had a nicer husband"
Patty took a sip from her drink and then went straight for the
point of the conversation. "Like you perhaps. I always said she
should have married you"
"Really? Well its too late now"
"Is it? Max could easily go, he does after all still hold a torch
for Kate" Jonathan looked at Patty and finally clicked what the
real point of the conversation was.
"And that would leave a gap for me to fill"
"Preciously. Of course it would take some doing but with the both of
us working together it could be done"
"Perhaps. I'll see you tomorrow Patty" He kissed her hand and
departed the scene. As he did he rolled his eyes.
"Young man" Patty said talking to the barman. "I'll have another
gin and tonic"

The automatic doors glided open and Scott walked out. The moonlight
lit up the fountain area. The crossroads sign was flashing and it
almost looked romantic. Scott sat by the fountain looking at his
reflection. Suddenly Rio's reflection appeared behind him.
"Waiting for someone?" She asked.
"Go away Rio. I know you blabbed to Kate about earlier"
"I don't know what you are talking about" Rio said as she turned
away from Scott and smiled. "Why has mummy been asking some
difficult questions?"
"What do you want Rio? To get back together or make my hell
difficult?"
"I saw Cameron earlier. He told me you kissed him. That isn't what
you told Vince" Rio turned to face Scott and slapped him. "You led
me on believing we had something when all the time you and him
were..." She couldn't say the words.
"Whatever Rio. Why don't you go back to America or doesn't daddy
want you?"

Patty was still at the bar when Kate walked over and sat beside
her.
"Kate nice to see you again"
"And you Patty."
"I was just talking about you with Jonathan. Talking about how you
and Max could have a future"
Kate's face turned from smiling to anger. "Me and Max don't have a
future and we never will. I've been hurt by him too many times.
Jonathan is the only person I want now."
"Then you have a fight because I'm going to see to it that Angel has
Jonathan, not you. I would settle with Max and dear old Crossroads
Hotel"
Kate got up from her stall.
"Why don't you get back on your broomstick and fly off back to the
other witches" Kate walked off, out of the hotel. Patty smiled
and then left the bar and walked over to the lifts.

Betty was waiting by the Hotel entrance when she spotted Carl
getting out of the cab. He paid the cab and started to walk back to
the Hotel. Betty stepped forward.
"Carl can I have a word?"
"Not now, I'm tired" Carl tried to make his excuses.
"It won't take long." She walked over to the fountain and Carl
followed her.
"Good night at the Casino" She asked.
"I wasn't at the casino" Carl tried to lie but it was clear that was
what he was doing.
"Really. Come on Carl I know what you are going through"
"I'm not going through anything. If that's it"
"Carl it will end in tears. You promised me you wouldn't go back to
the Casino. You owe it to Phil to try and fight your addiction" She
got up and headed back to the hotel.
"I don't have an addiction"
"Yes you do and so did I. You have Phil and she'll help you. But if
you lock her out you will head for a great fall"
Betty disappeared into the Hotel and left Carl thinking by the
fountain. He looked into the fountain.

Sylvia and Joe were sitting in his room reading various books of
address and the black book of Jenny's known movements.
"Its no good Joe. We have been through every friend and relative"
"So what do you suggest? Give up like you gave up on dad?"
"Joe! This is about Jenny not your father. I'm not suggesting we
give up but instead let the professionals deal with this. Lets bring
in the police."
"I suppose it is about time we brought them in. "

Sylvia and Joe were heading through the reception when Cleo caught
them.
"Wait up" She shouted as she walked across the reception. Max was by
reception, within listening distance.
"Where are you two off to? Have you got a lead?" Cleo asked.
"Not exactly. We're going to the police about Jenny" Sylvia replied.
Max looked shocked at the news but tried to keep his cool.
"Well its coming up to 11 its too late now. Why not leave it until
the morning?" Cleo said.
"She's right really. Its too late now." Joe said.

Helen and Dave were clearing glasses from tables as Oona sat on a
stall stroking Stable II, as Oona had re-named her. Oona placed the
cat on the bar and out her coat on.
"Oona love you aren't thinking off going up there at this time?:
"And why not?"
"Because they'll be in bed by now"
"Dave's right Oona. Best leave it until morning, hey" Helen said as
she placed a glass on the bar. The cat rubbed against her hand "And
its not like you haven't got another cat is it"
"That's besides the point."
"Please Oona love"
"Oh very well. But I'll be down there first thing, mark my words"
Oona picked up the cat and headed towards the living quarters.

Jimmy and Honey walked up to the Hotel laughing. From the bushes a
livid Ethan watched. His eyes full of hatred as Jimmy and Honey were
laughing. They both kissed.
"Come back to my room with me" Honey said.
"Come back with me" They, both laughed as they carried on to walk.
They walked into the reception area and passed Cleo, Joe and Sylvia
heading for the lifts.
"Anyway I'd better be getting home. I'll see you tomorrow"
Sylvia left the hotel and Joe and Cleo hugged and walked off towards
Joe's room.

Sylvia was walking across the hotel exterior, passing the fountain.
Ethan Black stepped out in front of her.
"Ethan Black. How un-pleasant to see you again."
