Previously on Crossroads:

- Patty told Kate that she was going to see to it that Jonathan would have Angel and not her.
- Rio confronted Scott about kissing Cameron, but he told her that she should just go back to America.
- Betty told Carl that he owed it to Phil to try to fight his gambling addiction.
- Joe, Cleo and Sylvia decided that they were going to go to the police about Jenny's disappearance.
- Ethan was livid to find that Honey hadn't poisoned Jimmy and approached Sylvia as she left the hotel.

"Sylvia Roberts. You haven't changed one bit since I last saw you!" Ethan smirked, stroking her face. Sylvia took his hand from her face angrily "What do you want Ethan? It's late and I'm tired!". "Now that's no way to treat an old flame, is it Sylvia? Especially one that has vital information on your daughter's whereabouts" Ethan replied. "Jenny? What have you done with her!" Sylvia shrieked. "Nothing! But I know where she is. Come home with me and I'll tell you!" Ethan said slyly. "I'm not going anywhere!" Sylvia shouted "Anything you've got to tell me you can tell me right here right now!". Ethan grabbed her arm "Come home with me now or you'll never know where your precious daughter is!". Sylvia hesitated before reluctantly agreeing.

Max burst into the Samson apartment where Angel was lying down on the sofa. She sat up in shock "If this is about my mother...". "Your mother is the last of my problems right now!" Max said angrily "I've just overheard Joe and his mother. They're going to the police tomorrow about Jenny!". Patty had woken up in her room and was approaching the door when she stopped and decided to listen to what was being said. "So what? The body's safe where it is, isn't it?" Angel replied. "They know that she was last seen in this hotel, so where's the first place the police are gonna start looking?" Max asked. By this stage Patty was becoming very curious about what Max and Angel were talking about. She decided to wait and listen for more. "You have to stop them going to the police Max! It's the only way!" Angel said anxiously. "Hang on a minute! I have to stop them?". "Yes! You're the one that killed the girl!" Angel replied. Just then Patty opened her door and stood before a horrified Max and Angel "Would you two mind telling me exactly what's going on?".

The Wise sisters were in their room about to go to sleep when there was a knock on the door. "Who's that at this time of night?" Belle said sitting up in bed. "I'll get it!" Lola said getting up from her bed. She opened the door to find Carl on the other side "Can I speak to Phil?". "I don't think she wants to talk to you!" Lola said and was about to close the door when Phil came up behind her. "It's okay Lola, I'll speak to him!" she smiled. She took her coat and walked down the corridor with Carl. "I'm sorry about standing you up last night!" he said putting his arm around her "The truth is... I'm addicted to gambling. I've tried giving it up loads of times but it never works!". Phil smiled at him reassuringly "I can help you. You don't have to do this alone!". They walked through the lobby out to the fountain. "I know I've got you" Carl smiled "It just took too long for me to realise. Everything's still alright between us, isn't it?". "Of course it is! I love you!" Phil replied before they kissed passionately under the moonlit sky.

Helen arrived home from the pub to find Rio lying on the sofa crying. Virginia came through from the kitchen. "There's no point talking to her Helen! She won't say a word!" she retorted before heading back into the kitchen. Helen sat down next to Rio and put her arm around her, but Rio shrugged it off. "Come on Rio! Whatever it is, you can tell me!". Rio looked at Helen with tears in her eyes. "I want to go home!" she said before getting up and running up the stairs. Helen's face fell.

In the Booth apartment, Tracey was sitting by the phone looking anxious while Scott was making his way to his room. "Goodnight sweetheart!" Tracey shouted after him. "Yeah, whatever!" Scott moaned back. Once he was in his room, Tracey picked up her phone and dialled a number from her filofax "Jake, it's Tracey. Look, I know it's been a long time but we need to talk. It's about Scott".

Sylvia was sitting uncomfortably in Ethan's living room while he poured her a drink. "Have some of this!" he said passing her a glass "It'll make you more... relaxed!". "I haven't come here to relax Ethan. I've come to find out where my daughter is!" she snapped before snatching the glass from him. "All in good time!" Ethan replied "First of all, I want you to do something for me!". He walked over and sat next to Sylvia, taking the glass from her hand and stroking her hair "Rekindle the flame!". Syliva jumped up from the sofa in disgust. Ethan got up after her and grabbed her by the arms. "Get away from me!" she yelled struggling to break free. "Come on Sylvia!" he sneered "You know you want to just as much as I do!". She continued to struggle from his grip before finally giving in and kissing him. "Let's take this somewhere more... comfortable!" Ethan suggested taking her by the hand and leading her up the stairs, an evil grin appearing on his face.

Max and Angel looked uncomfortably at each other while Patty stood before them. "I'm waiting!" she snapped. "You'd better sit down!" Angel said quietly before offering her a place on the sofa. Patty sat down and crossed her legs. "It looks like this is going to be a long night!" she smirked to herself as Max began to tell all about Jenny's death.

The following morning, Ethan awoke to find Sylvia standing by the window in a dressing gown. "Good morning Sylvia!" he sneered. "I've had enough of this! I've kept my end of the bargain, now you tell me everything you know!". "Under one condition!" he replied. Sylvia looked at him sternly. "You don't go to the police!" he continued. Sylvia thought to herself for a moment "Fine, now tell me everything you know!".

Over at the Raven household, Virginia was making breakfast when Rio came into the kitchen. "Are you alright now love?" Virginia asked with a smile. "I still wanna go home if that's what you mean!" Rio replied before opening the fridge and taking the milk bottle out to drink from it. "Must you be so vulgar Rio!" Virginia retorted "Now go off to school and stop talking such nonsense!". Rio slammed the fridge door shut and walked off with the milk bottle, while Virginia rolled her eyes and headed off for the hotel.

In the Samson apartment, Max, Angel, Betty, Cleo, Ryan and Jimmy were seated around the breakfast table. "Where's Gran?" Cleo asked. "Oh, she's having a lie in!" Angel replied "She had a long night!". Max raised his eyebrow and looked over at Angel before continuing to eat his breakfast. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Honey ran into the apartment "Sorry to interrupt Mrs. Samson, but I think you should come downstairs!". Angel quickly got up from the table and went downstairs with Honey. Everybody else followed except Max, who stayed to finish his breakfast. Just then Patty came out of her room and went up to Max. "If you think I'm letting my daughter stay with you after everything you've told me you've got another thing coming!" she shouted before storming out of the apartment.

Downstairs at reception, Oona was shouting for all to hear "Where is that cat-murdering ginger nut! I'll tear her whiskers out one by one!". "What on earth is this commotion about?" Angel said as she approached the reception. All of a sudden, Oona grabbed Angel by the hair and pulled her to the floor! Quickly Ryan ran to pull the pair apart. "Rocky, get this madwoman out of my hotel immediately!" Angel shouted as she got up from the floor. "Don't think I've finished with you yet madam! This is just the beginning!" Oona declared as Rocky helped her out of the hotel. "Are you alright Angel?" Betty asked. "Yes, I'm fine Betty! At least you were all here to help me. As usual Max is nowhere to be seen! I'll be in my office if anyone wants me!" Angel replied, heading into her office. Patty, who was watching from the staircase, headed over to the bar where Kate and Jonathan were talking. "Kate, Max wants you upstairs!" she said as she approached the bar. Kate gave Patty a look before saying "Is it important? As you can see I'm a bit busy!". "Now, Kate!" Patty replied to which Kate got up from the bar and stormed off in a huff. "Angel's in her office. She's in a terrible state! I think you should go in and have a word with her!" Patty said to Jonathan. He looked at her suspiciously "Shouldn't Max be doing that?". "Oh, they've had a terrible argument! He's upstairs, he doesn't want to talk to her!" she replied mischievously. Jonathan looked slightly concerned "Ok, I'll see what I can do!" he smiled.

Upstairs in the Samson apartment, Max was just finishing his breakfast when Kate stormed in "What is it Max? I'm busy!". "What are you on about Kate?" Max replied. "Your mother-in-law said... oh, never mind!" Kate said before rushing back out of the apartment. Max sat there with a very confused expression before getting up to wash the dishes.

Angel was sitting on the sofa in her office, straightening her hair in her mirror, when there was a knock on the door. She quickly put the mirror in her pocket "Come in!". Jonathan entered the room and smiled at her before sitting down beside her. Angel looked rather startled and confused "Is there anything you want?". "You look like you need come comforting!" Jonathan replied. "Oh, it wasn't that bad!" Angel said thinking that Jonathan was talking about her run-in with Oona. "Oh, but you look a mess!" Jonathan replied looking at her tossed hair.

Meanwhile, Kate was rushing down the stairs in the lobby when Patty stopped her. "What are you playing at Patty? Max didn't want anything!" Kate said angrily. "Never mind that Kate! I think there's something you should know!" Patty replied. "Patty, I really don't have time to play games!" Kate said walking down the stairs. "Oh, but this is serious Kate!" Patty replied "It's about Jonathan!". Kate suddenly froze and turned around "What about Jonathan?". Patty walked down in front of her and whispered "I'm sorry to have to tell you this Kate, but he's been cheating on you... with Angel!". "Don't make me laugh!" sneered Kate "He's told me himself he's not even the slightest bit interested in her anymore!". Patty looked Kate in the eyes "Then why did I just see them kissing in her office?". Kate looked horrified "You're lying!". "You can see for yourself if you don't believe me!" Patty replied nodding towards Angel's office. Kate hesitated before rushing towards the office and bursting through the door to find Jonathan sitting next to Angel on the sofa straightening her hair. Kate completely misread the situation and cried "How could you Jonathan? After everything you said!". "Kate! It's not what you think!" Jonathan replied getting up from the sofa. Kate ran outside to the fountain where she sat and wept bitterly. Jonathan followed her outside, while Patty stood outside the office and chuckled to herself before heading back up the stairs as if nothing had happened.
