-Lady Alice Fox paid another visit to Max.
-DS Jenson tried to arrest Max but Lady Alice Fox told her that the
allegations were false
-Jonathan proposed to Kate
-Rocky proposed to Virginia.

Virginia and Chloe are at Reception talking away. Unusually there
was very little activity in the reception area.
"So why didn't they arrest him then?" Chloe asked.
"Well according to Tracey Lady Alice Fox told them it was a load of
rubbish" Virginia replied.
"Well who told them in the first place?" Just as Chloe asked Betty
walked out of her office and over to the Reception desk with some
papers.
"Tracey said that Cleo accused Mrs Samson" Virginia said noting that
Betty was now listening.
"Virginia hadn't you better start running the reception instead of
spreading malicious gossip around?" Betty angrily said.
"That's it!" Virginia shouted. "I've had enough you telling me what
to do Betty Waddell" Virginia said poking her finger at Betty. "You
aren't my boss. You keep your nose out of Reception business and
stay to your own small world of dirty towels. I will not have you
sticking your nose into reception business any more!"
"Like you stick your nose into other people's business you mean!"
Betty wittily replied.
"Every since you came here you've done your best to undermine my
authority and muscle in on Rocky's affections. You just can't stand
the fact that me and Rocky are destined to be together"
Betty laughed. "Of course Virginia."
"If he wanted you he would have asked you to marry him, wouldn't he?
But he didn't Betty Waddell because he asked me!"
"What?" Betty said with great surprise. "He actually asked you to
marry him?"
"Indeed he did. So you can try your luck with someone else"
Kate came out of the office and walked straight over to the
Reception Desk. "What on earth is going on here? I can hear you from
the Office"
"Betty and I are making our job roles clear to each other" Virginia
replied.
"Well I'm sure Betty knows her job role, Virginia."
"I was just reminding her Kate. She seemed to think that Reception
was her domain. I reminded her that towels and bed sheets are in-
fact her domain."
"All right Virginia" Kate said in calming voice.
"Its all right Kate." Betty said. "I have work to do" With that
Betty returned and walked back into her office.

Upstairs in the Samson apartment Cleo was pacing up and down as Ryan
and Joe were seated on the sofa.
"Calm down Cleo" Ryan said. Cleo stopped pacing up and down and
looked at Ryan.
"Calm down! Mum tried to have Dad arrested and then disappeared all
night and you tell me to calm down!"
"Ryan's right Cleo. Getting worked up won't solve anything"
"What does she think she's doing" Cleo said. "Dad didn't kill Jimmy.
She's not the only one grieving."
The door opened and Angel walked in.
"Where the hell have you been?" Cleo shouted at Angel.
"I was with Sister Grace" Angel replied. "And I don't like your
attitude Cleo darling"
"Good because I don't like yours. What were you playing at trying to
have dad arrested?"
"Oh so they don't arrest him? Max always could worm his way out of
things" Angel said pouring herself a drink.
"Is that it?" Cleo said. "No apology. No reasons?"
"I've given you more than enough reasons Cleo. You are just too
stupid not to see them."
Cleo stormed out and Angel just walked into her bedroom.
"Have you thought about what I said last night?" Ryan asked.
"Even if we do find Ethan what can we do alone?"
"We can cross that bridge when we come to it" Ryan replied.
"All right I'll help you" Joe replied.

DS Jenson was sitting in CID went the DI entered and came over to
her desk.
"I've just had the DCI on at me. He's had Max Samson on the phone
complaining about you trying to arrest him on evidence his wife gave
you"
"That's right Guv. Angel Samson told me about some of his business
deals but when we got there Lady Alice Fox denied that Max had
blackmailed her"
"Well that's an end to it then"
"Well I'm not sure Guv. I think Mrs Samson may have been right. I
checked what she said about Ethan Black's father and it was true."
"So?"
"So I think she may have been telling the truth about Lady Alice
Fox. I mean Lady Alice is hardly going to admit to being forced into
partnership is she?"
"You want to carry on the line of investigation?"
"Yes Guv. I think if we pay a visit to Ethan Black and then Lady
Alice Fox we could learn a lot"
"Alright but tread carefully. I've had enough ear bashings from the
DCI for one day"
"Yes guv"

Kate walked into the bar and over to speak with Tracey, who was
stocking up.
"Where's Jake?" Kate asked.
"Oh he's in his room I think." Tracey replied. "Kate do you believe
Scott was telling the truth when he said he was gay?"
"Yes why don't you?" Kate said sitting down.
"I do but Jake thinks it's a cry for help"
"He would Tracey. It will be hard for help to accept that Scott's
gay."
"Perhaps but Jake keeps saying it's a cry for attention."
"I'll have a word with him if you like"
"Cheers"
Billy entered the bar and went over to the two women.
"Tracey can I have a quick word with Kate in private?"
"Yeah sure" Tracey replied looking very unsure. She went to the
other end of the bar and started to stock up there.
"I've said everything I wanted to last night, Billy."
"Well I haven't"
"You see this Billy" Kate said holding her finger, with a ring, on
to Billy. "Me and Jonathan are getting married so there's no chance
of us ever getting back together. The sooner you go back up to
Scotland the better"
"That's not going to happen Kate. I'm not going back to Scotland"
Kate looked uneasy at the news. "Why not?"
"Because I'm starting a new bistro down here. That's why I'm back. I
want us to run it together Kate"
Kate looked disgusted at the news and slapped him. "You haven't
listened to a word I said have you? Get out of my sight Billy"
Billy rubbed his face and then walked off. Tracey came rushing over
to Kate.
"Was he bothering you Kate?" She asked.
"No I've dealt with it thanks Tracey."
"Did I hear correct? Are you and Jonathan engaged?"
"Yes he asked me last night"
"Oh congratulations" Tracey said smiling.

DS Jenson and another CID officer, DC Richardson, walked up to
Ethan's door and knocked on it. Ethan was quick to open it.
"Mr Ethan Black?" DC Richardson asked.
"That's right"
"I'm DS Sally Jenson and this is DC Michael Richardson. Can we come
in?"
"Of course" Ethan replied, smiling.
Ethan showed the two officers into his lounge and they sat down on a
leather sofa.
"What is this about?" Ethan asked.
"Its about the murder of Jimmy Samson" DS Jenson replied.
"Yes and very tragic it was too. I knew Jimmy well."
"How well?" DC Richardson asked.
"We were close friends. Jimmy stayed here a while back"
"He stayed here?" DS Jenson said with surprise. "But I was told you
and Max are rivals"
"Yes we are. But Jimmy had a falling out with Max and he came to
stay with me"
"And why did he leave?" DC Richardson replied.
"He left because his family missed him."
"Changing the topic slightly Mr Black" DS Jenson said. "Did Max
Samson break into this house at any time and steal any documents?"
"No but he did break into Lady Alice Fox's house"
"How do you know that?" The DC asked.
"Lady Alice Fox and I are good friends. She confided in me"

Jake walked down a corridor in Crossroads and bumped into Billy.
"Billy!" Jake said with some surprise. "I didn't you know were back"
"I didn't know you were back either Jake"
"What are you doing back? Hoping to get back with Kate?"
"Hardly" Billy replied. "I'm here to open a new business"
Jake laughed. "A business? You struggled managing the kitchens here!
How on earth could you manage to run a business?"
Kate came around a corner. "All right Jake" She said. "Billy I asked
you to leave what are you still doing here?"
"I'm staying here. I checked in last night" Billy said producing a
card. He turned to a door and opened it and left.
"Why didn't you tell me he was back on the scene?" Jake asked.
"He's not. I'm not here to talk about that Jake. Tracey said you
haven't accepted that Scott's gay"
"He's not. It's a cry for attention that you and Tracey are giving
him. Its what he wants"
"Jake it's not a cry for attention. Him and Rio broke up over
Cameron."
"My son isn't gay."
"And your going to go back to America next week believing that are
you?"
"Why not it's the truth?" Jake replied before pushing past Kate.

"Thank you for your time Mr Black" DS Jenson said.
"Not at all" Ethan replied closing the door.
"There's far more to this case than meets the eye" DS Jenson
said. "Max Samson & Ethan Black are heavily connected to some
criminal activity"
"What do we do now?" DC Richardson asked.
"What and wait."
DS Sally Jenson and DC Richardson got back in the car and drove out
of the driveway and down the road slightly and then stopped. After
only a few seconds a Land rover went passed.
"That was Lady Alice Fox" DC Richardson said.
"And she's paying a visit to her business partner's rival"

Ethan opened the door and saw Lady Alice Fox standing waiting.
"Lady Alice what an un-expected pleasure"
"Yes I'm sure it is Ethan. I'm not here on social business"
"Really. Then what are you here about"
"Yesterday my stables were attacked and I think you have something
to do with it"
"Why would I attack your stables" Ethan said laughing.
"Oh stop this charade Ethan. You know why and if it happens again
I'll go straight to the Police. The sooner you and Max manage to
sort out this pathetic little feud the better." Lady Alice replied
before getting in her land rover.

Angel was sitting in her room at her dressing table. She was looking
in her mirror while putting on an earring when the whole room went
white for a second. Then behind her she could see Jimmy.
"Jimmy!" Angel cried out.
"Hello Mum" Jimmy replied.
"Jimmy your alive"
"Am I? Ethan killed me"
"Don't say that"
"Ethan killed me because you and Dad. It wasn't just dads fault it
was also yours"
"Don't say that Jimmy" Angel said crying. "It wasn't my fault I love
you"
"Of course it was your fault as well. You hated Ethan as well. You
went against him as well"
"No Jimmy! No it wasn't like that. Please stop saying these awful
things"
"Ethan's hand was on the trigger but it was you and dad that killed
me. You and dad that ear marred me for death"
"No!" Angel shouted out. "No! It's not true" She cried. "It's not
true. I didn't kill" Angel shouted. "I didn't kill you" Angel shot
forward. Instead of being at her dressing table she was in her bed.
She had been dreaming it all. Patty ran into the room.
"Angel dear are you alright?"
"Jimmy was here. He said I killed him" Angel said I a state of
confusion and panic.
"It was just a dream dear," Patty said trying to re-assure Angel.
"No it wasn't mother. It felt so real"

Ethan opened the door and walked inside Honey and Nicky's room. Both
were asleep and it was nighttime. He nearly awoke but he became
unnerved by a figure standing in the shadows.
"Who's there?" Ethan said.
A figure stepped forward out of the shadows and Ethan looked
horrified to see him.
"Hello Ethan" Jimmy said.
